Miami- May 18, 2004- On May 8 a second major fund raising event was held to gather funds to ship more donations to the Regionals Hospital Dr. Ernesto Sequeira Blanco in Bluefields, Nicaragua.
We
want to thank all of you who could make it and continue to support this
effort and also to those who could not make it, but spread the word so
others would know what was going on. The Outcome very positive. We had a
great party that went on through the wee hours of morning which
coincided with with the day we celebrate Mothers Day in the United
States of America. We want to thank the following individuals who
donated their valuable time and items for the sale. Special Thanks to Mrs. Antonina Ullit for letting us use her Home and make this event possible. To Mr. Darson Joseph for providing the Music and making it a lively event with everyone dancing to the tunes and to DJ TYGO ( Tyrone Gollopp) and DJ JET ( Warner Brooks). If we have miss anyone who helped please forgive us and you know we thank you for all that you have done. The Show was of an upscale Performance, Graciela Garth and Zoila Obando joined by Mr. James Fernando Perry were just amazing in their presentation of how the May Pole should be danced. Mr. Perry even climbed the tree and broke 5 limbs which supported his fall to the ground, it was stunning. Miss Graciela Garth, the world known " P U N A" we thank you for you support and the effort to come out and show us they we do things back in the days. Miss Zoila Obando thanks for joining in and doing your thing, it was a great Performance. Mr. James Fernando Perry was the lead Chef of the Night delighting everyone with his specialty "The Chop Suey ", cooked to order. This dish was the favorite of the crowd and went flying. Thanks again Brother, after all that cooking he still was strong enough to go out and give a stellar performance along side PUNA and Zoila.
The menu consisted of: MENU, CHOP SUEY, FRITO, VIGORON, TACOS, COCO CAKE, STICK TO ME RIBS and BEEF PATTIES. We are planning on putting together a few projects for the schools back on the Caribbean Coast, and we will let you know what they are and how we intend to handle them when we have put them together. Thanks again for your Support and we are sure the people of the South Atlantic Autonomous Region will be thankful. Steve R. Hooker Sr. - Austin Lewin Jr. President Vice-President UCP, Inc.
